ANY IDEAS?

Last night me and my house mate sat down and watched Halloween. That’s the ORIGINAL version for the record. We also ended up discussing the horror genre and films in general, which I did not mind in the slightest. We’ve come up with a list of films that we have not seen to watch over the next few weeks (expect reviews on most if not all of them):

1. Repo men - the remake of a musical about an organisation that harvests human organs….it looks better than it sounds.

2. Midnight Meat Train - A man with a camera. Vinnie Jones as a serial killer…need I say more? This film interests me so we’ll see if it lives up to the review my friend gave it…..

3. Perfume: The Story of a Murderer - I don’t know much about this one except it is the story of a man who makes perfume and his quest for the ultimate scent takes a darker path…..

4. Nightmare on Elm Street - This is more for my house mate than me, as I have seen this countless times. It will et me compare the remake better though despite already making my review….

5. Scream? - The question mark is intentional because having seen all the Scream films, I wonder whether to show my house mate. The first is good but then it’s all downhill from there.

6. Resident evil - Her idea not mine. However I did enjoy the first of the series so, like Scream, will probably just stick to the first instalment…

7. Creepshow 2 - A film I haven’t heard of. Shocking I know. It looks….interesting to say the least. An old couple own a shop with a wooden statue of an Indian outside. They get robbed, statue comes to life and begins collecting scalps. It has B class horror written all over it, but I’m open minded so why not….

8. Saw VI - The bandwagon rears its ugly head here. But I’ve been told to watch it simply to say that I have seen them all. So I will…..

9. Escape from LA - From the same brand as Escape from New York but the one I haven’t seen. So expect a review in the coming weeks…..

I always like to watch new films so if you have any suggestions let me know. What films do you think everyone should see?
